Lucy has 30 years of clinical experience working alongside doctors and health professionals within the hospital and clinic setting. She worked as a Specialist Speech & Language Therapist within the NHS for 22 years, working primarily with patients who have voice disorders, speech difficulties or swallowing dysfunction.
In 2008, she began several years of study in Nutrition, learning how to apply the principles of nutritional medicine to the management of chronic disease and ill-health.
In 2014 she graduated from the UK College of Nutrition and Health (BCNH) with distinction, and completed a Masters Degree in Personalised Nutrition with Middlesex University in 2017.
She combines both professions in her independent practice in East Yorkshire, with a special interest in the dietary management of acid reflux and the impact this can have on hoarse voice. Her other special interests include gastrointestinal health and immunity, migraine and weight management.
